Somehow "shit thread" contradicts the second sentence.

Not too bad, its got a lot funkier and neater bassline then the original, while keeping the vocals and piano parts.

I think the reason people get pissed at Richard Durand is because he does shitty remakes of classics and other songs that have no business being remixed. The only thing I've ever liked from him that falls under this category was sunhump 2006, which is just great imo. but remixing tocas miracle and snow patrol and prodigy and chemical brothers and stuff like that is what makes for those great epic ten page threads about how gay durand is, not remixes like this where he is comissioned by the label or artist or w/e.

i dont think people really mind durand remixing this song, it's not a classic is it? in fact i think it really fucking sucks, a far cry from first state - first state, and i encourage durand to try and make it better.

ps has anyone heard his mix of way out west - the fall? god what a disaster
