Kopi Luwak - Red Light District (KabukiCho) Electro

I have been attempting to Produce some EDM the last couple of days.
I think this new year I will try to Produce something decent, and will take a break from Chillout.
This time the unlucky genre was Electro.
Have been trying to emulate some Fx's over the tune, to add funkyness, but they still sound kinda odd.
Dont be afraid to critiquise .

yo mate!

This sounds nice, i like the electroish elements in this one I think the bassline can be a bit more acid or dirty, also make it a bit louder maybe : o)

I love that guitar : D that is like chill electro hehe, realy enjoying the melody : o)

Keep up the good work mate,

all the best for ya,

Hell yeah it's like chilled out electro! Very niace. I agree with djads, the bassline could be a bit more nastay haha.

I love it! I still try to make tunes like Artic. Don't stray too far from chillout.

Keep it up man!

A little repetitive for my taste, somewhat dry untill 1:40, untill those pads hit, very nice, however, you need to add more reverb, i am not aware of which prog you use, the perfect way would be to create 4 child busses with 2 reverb, 2 delay plug-in/modules, each would be a short and a long delay, thus reverb shall be a small room and a dome.

now, panning that you have introduced is nice, but total imagery ground work is based on techniques mentioned above.

concept is present, mixing is great too, i especially like the percussion and other sfx. Overall, great work, in terms of production, work on arrangement, reverse clashes, drum rolls, also add a little human touch, not every not has to be precise, sometimes its good to enlarge or decrease different notes, to make it sound more natural.

Thanks for the input .
Mega, will play with those settings you suggested .
I am not sure about humanizationt, imo does not fit in an electro tune.

You did very well with House, you do very well with Chill Out, and Down Tempo. I don't see why you wouldn't do good with Electro.

I'd suggest to follow MegaMan's advise, cause I don't know too much about Electro.

Cheers
