The dreamiest, most tranquil, and beautiful trance melodies ever made are at the heart of Ambient music. At its best, the music evokes a sense of peace on earth and the afterlife rolled into one.
Fantastic stuff to fall asleep to, and I don't mean that in a bad way.

Please don't say "trance melodies".

Ambient is awesome.

Just like so many other types of music.

On topic: Ambient is good stuff. I really like Brian Eno stuff and Moby's 'Hotel Ambient'. I don't have too much from this genre, but I like most of what I have from it
