Ok go into the Audio I/O settings in options and see what it's set to. I'm guessing you've either got it set to ASIO/EASI/kernel driver or something and that may be causeing problems. make sure it's set to directsound and that it's using the audigy to play through and not some onboard S/C or something. BPM studio should support all soundcards so long as they're DirectX 7 compatible. However you may be using an older version of BPM (i have 4) and you should also check to see if you're at least up to DirectX 7 minimum.

Questions for you

What OS are you using?
How much RAM have you got?
Have you installed the latest driver for the Audigy from Creatives website?
Did you just rip out previous card and put that in as it may have gotten confused for some reason as to which card is in the system?

thanx for the interest but it's not really a problem i face at the moment,it's a friends prob and i brought it up because i'm looking forward to upgrading to an audigy player...
