Angel Flight (192kbps full dl)

Hey,

finished this trance tune some days ago, and won't be able to work on it anymore because, well, my computer is a bit shitty really Maybe someone could give some feedback, I still consider myself new to producing (3 years?). I'm using FL6, but I hope you can't tell (I know how to use it)

Download here!

Enjoy! (or not)

I am usually wary to reply to the names of tracks with 'angel' anywhere in the name of the title. That's because it either means that it is so epic that it is pompous cheese, or the track is made by noobs who have only heavenly names going for them. In this case, I was pleasantly suprised.

The driving bassline, the knocking kick, the intial string melodies and synth patterns seem to perk my ears a bit.

Now for the epic pads in the breakdown. This is your typical epic-trance euphoric bonanza of an opus, but it's done with good taste ( I am a bit biased). The theme makes me think of a theatrical survival in artic zones from some amassing peril of thickening plot lines.

Production wise, I would tame the hats a little more; especially after the breakdown. I would change-up and vary the arrangement a little more so that the theme doesn't become too droney when the beat continues again and again and again.

I'm sorry you think that you can't work on it anymore. You could, however, bounce the elements of the track and mix them up till the production is to your liking, if you so desire. However, I know how it feels to need that period of mental drain after you finish a draft of a tune.

Hope to hear more from you.
