Matthew Dekay relaunches DK Recordings

After a year’s break, November 2007 sees the return of Matthew Dekay’s DK Recordings with a new look, brand new website and a plethora of new sound. Through constant touring worldwide and his legendary epic sets, Dutchman Dekay has built up a huge global following, and has taken his time to re-build and re-fresh the label so that it mirrors his infectious personality, cutting-edge music tastes and high-class DJ style. With less than a dozen label releases under his belt, DK Recordings has already unearthed a worldwide hit, the massive Perasma – Swing 2 Harmony and released dance music from high-class progressive talent of the likes of Derek Howell, DJ Remy, 16 Bit Lolitas and Simon & Shaker.

The newly rejuvenated label will continue Dekay’s constant search for the best new and unsigned talent in dance music as well as bringing us quality tracks and remixes from established artists and of course hot new productions from the man himself. If you’ve seen Dekay live you’ll know only the finest quality and freshest electronic music makes the cut, with genre borders cast asunder. The only rule is, if it works for Dekay, its right for DK Recordings.

The comeback release DK012 comes from an all-star Swedish line-up. Man-of-the-moment David West continues his successful production team-ups with fellow countrymen Inkfish on the gorgeous ‘Hello Piano’. With remixes from Greek master Kosmas Epsilon and MDK himself, this is a package that will hit hard with progressive dance fans. With further releases from his most forward thinking production colleagues lined up and several sibling labels also springing up to accommodate Dekay’s wide-ranging music tastes DK Recordings will once again establish itself as the first stop for quality dance music.

In other release news, Matthew Dekay has remixed Junkie XL’s big new single, the filthy and sexual ‘F*ck More’. Featuring an explicit, lust-filled vocal, MDK has pumped it right up into a throbbing, dancefloor rocker’ that will go down as his most incredible remix to date! This is out second week of November on different formats as part of the ‘More More’ remix package. Don’t miss it!

In the meantime for all news MDK and DK Recordings check out the new look website at www.dkrecordings.com
