Reason

I rarely ask for help, but I really really need it right about now!

This has always bugged me and I'm trying to find a proper solution. I want to take a sound being synthesized in reason and reverse it. Please tell me there's a way to do it within reason (no the rv7000 reverse didn't work)?

o damn annoying!

record it and do it in the wav editor.. Only way to do it... maybe you can simulate it a bit by reversing the volume envelope...
But the effects will not be reversed that way of course.

There are VSTs which record sound as a song plays, then feature various playback options, like chopping up the sound. I'm positive there are ones which reverse whatever sound is coming into them, you'd just need to set them up so they start recording at the right time and playing back at the right time. But in any case, in most DAWs you can just grab the clip and reverse it rather than looking for more complex options.

I haven't come across Reason being able to reverse sounds coming out of it's synths. Either rewire or use an external wave editor, I'd say.

Export the sound, load it into the NN-XT. Change the playback mode of the sample to BW.

You can't reverse audio in Reason in REAL TIME. The NNXT has a reverse mode, but you can't sample and play back as your track is playing, you need an external wave editor.
