I know each situation is different, but I'm curious to hear any pearls of wisdom ppl can share here.

In my case, an old romance from 8 years ago (before I met my recent ex of 7 years) may get rekindled and this is the first time I'm in such a situation.

Sex is not even remotely in the cards at this point; the thread title was just to make this interesting. I'm curious to hear from the ladies' perspective about what u would expect from the relationship if ur single and u meet ur ex who is also single.

Does life get really complicated? Are there issues u would prefer to avoid?

General advice is welcome, cuz I'm confused about whether to pursue a relationship where I can be comfortable w someone who already knows me or would it be better to start from scratch?

I had sex with the guy I lost my virginity to again, many years after we had done it the first time. It pretty much confirmed my original thought that he had a small penis. See, I couldn't really tell the first time, cause I didn't have much experience with penises at that point.

Anyway, the second time around, I couldn't help but think, "God, he fucks like a pathetic loser", so I rolled over and passed out.

often the issues that broke you up in the first place are still there. even though you may miss her and maybe even remember the relationship more fondly then it was, has anything changed so significantly that you think this time will be different then the last? have you re-evaluated your stance? has she changed hers? unless you have, this endeavoyr would be pointless and very painful
