OMG
What a night, amazing.
I got there at 11:30, I had to pay 15 $ which is not too bad, thanks to Fuzion. The crowd was awesome and friendly ( alot of room to dance). Around 1 am went to vip room, saw your all TA, forgot most of your names.... sorry. Thanks for the sticker blue_neon. Then went back to the dance floor with blue_neon. And John just went on and on and on with amazing progressive and trance set (Robert Miles - children and three drives - sunset of Ibiza) two of my all time favourites. Party there till 5 am. It was an amazing night. John was much better then AVB @ the guvernment.

woooohooooo
wat a night! John 00 just tore the roof of system last night at the beginning of his set, i didn't know if it was him, but then i realized it was, and he was spinning some banging progressive, but it was too low the volume at times...around 3am the club started moving literally...john spun massive back to back tech-trance and goa tracks the last 1 and a half of his set was just unbelievable..i can't ID any of those songs, but its oki, ill buy the euphoria cd some of the progressive tracks he played was Dave Swayze - Yasmines Garden (thnx to mecha who recognized it ), Jimmy Van M - Love Like Sleep (remix , sasha's maybe?)...
when Joy Kitkonti came on, omfg, his set - pure madness that was some nasty electric spicy tek-house it got me grooving some bad song after song, beat after beat i cudn't recognize any of the tek-house songs, but he certainly kind of reminds me tom stephan if system brinds tek-house dj's in like that, im gonna start going to system religiously its funny how Joy was mixing this 1 song, i forget the name of it, but judge jules used to spin it, its like tech-trance, but anyways, as soon on he came on, he was scratching for good 3 mins just fookin brilliant sets the whole night
crowd was certainly very friendly and good...people dancing, and so much space to dance, so that made my night amazing i went to the VIP room, meet Jazz, Arcticboy, tatgirl, the chinese dude (you know who you are ), meet Swamps early in the night at the central bar hehe, Endlesswave, dEsidel...ah can't remember but i think i got everyone i wasn't on the list at all, either the stupid bitch who didn't know how to check her list or i wasn't really on there no worry, i always come prepared..anyways im all tired now, and i gotta work soon

now THAT is how you do trance... without a doubt one of my top nights ever at system... from start to finish, this party absolutely rocked... Scaife opened up with a nice hard, up beat set - excellent job of setting the mood for 00 fleming...
fleming wasted no time, as soon as he hit the decks he started laying down one wikked track after the next... for 3 hours straight he didn't let up, kept the energy level through the roof... the fact that he managed to drop Children without it being the least bit cheesy just about sums it up... trance done right...
by the time kitokonti was up I was totally beat, but he still managed to keep me moving... one word to describe this guy, relentless... dropping trax from all ends of the electronica spectrum was a nice change up after hearing 3 hours of prog trance, and the crowd was totally into it... kitokonti had a huge task stepping up after the amazing set fleming threw down, but he didn't miss a step... first time seeing this guy, hopefully it won't be the last...
shouts to all the TA's that made it out last night... and to the eLiTe pir8 swamp thing, got any wArEz?

My review, same one as posted on the tribe board.
Last night when I walked in to System I was greeted with a feeling that reminded me of when I started going to Breathe when it first began. It was a feeling of not really totally knowing what to expect and of knowing it was going to be a great night.
Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my prog but it was a nice change to hear a different style of music in the club (note that I wasn't able to make it when the Dukes spun). And it was a fantastic night of music, when I arrived Mark Scaife (so adaptable to whatever style be it opening or headlining) was doing a terrific job of setting the tone for the night, droping track after track of rocking bass lines.
When Fleming stepped up he didn't hesitate to continue in the direction that Mark had been taking everyone, instead of the start from scratch and build it up "prog way" he immediatly lashed out at everyone with thounderous tunes that didn't give anyone a moment to rest. I thouroughly enjoyed his set completely for the entire night and was so thankful when he dropped "Area - Definition of Tekto (Silvio Ecomo Mix)" as its such a favorite of mine. So now I'm still waiting to hear a set by the man that disapoints me, luckily I don't think that will ever happen. When talking to some people about his set, everyone was in agreeance that he is always able to create pounding uplifting sets without being cheesy, a problem encountered by quite a few trance djs.
As for Joy Kitikonti, being a labelmate of BXR boss Mauro Picotto, I was expecting to hear plenty of hard italian techno and that I did. While I only heard the 1st hour of his set before I left I was quite impressed with what he was dropping, lots of tweaking and some scratching nicely rounded out the sound I heard.
And of course aside from the music what else to make the night better than the scores of fantastic people who came out, so great to see everyone and meet some new faces as well! Special thanks to Josh for giving me a ride home when the friends I came with decided to go home earlier in the night.
So all together it was a fouking phenominal night of music and friends with a vibe that astonished me. And from the things I've heard it looks like it shall be a memorable summer indeed.
