[Post Rock/Bland Rock/idk] Beauty In Black and White

It dawned on me yesterday that I have a guitar and a bass and I don't use them enough so I decided to do somethign with those instead of just sequencing everything out. Its still a bit sloppy, but for starting out as just improvising on a bongo riff my friend sent me it turned out pretty well. So yeah, this is my first attempt at writing/recording anything like this so any/all feedback is welcome

I like it. =] Sounds very DIY. Might want to add some more percussion like a drumkit. Cool melodies and stuff, has some melancholy to it.

Sounds naice. I think it would be sweet if you started shredding like half way through and layed some heavy drums it would be wicked. That is, if you like it heavy. Maybe remix it rocking out lol

I've been considering doing a hard-rock remix of it, but I think I'm just gonna write something new instead. Palm-muting here i come!

I was thinking more along the lines of Isis - Garden of Light.

It starts off all calm and nice like yours did and picks up, then goes back down. Don't know if you have heard them before, HERE is the tune, give you an idea. Obviously not that crazy though.

Oh yeah one thing you should do, pan your rythem guitar and your lead, so they arnt bunched in the center. I notice that in alot of tunes. Kinda drives me nut cause at first its more dominate in one ear then the it pops up in the other. It all works out in the end though haha.

You guys have a wicked collab opportunity here.

I think if you were to record the rhythm twice (one panned left the other right) to give it space, and then take the lead with a stereo delay, you'd have some good sounding stuff. I think the guitar needs to be a bit brighter as well. But that's just me.

I do hope you guys will get together on this one.
