I like it. It's very punchy, has ethereal pads, and some shpongle-like guitar-ish phrases at the end. THere's definately that groove element, and the production is fairly sharp and clear for the most part.
The reverb on ths initial plucking synth was a smart move... it seemed to fit it's purpose well. The retro synth was not too bad either... and the melody and chord progression felt unique and intriguing at the same time. I like the vibes.
7/10 (I would not be dissapointed to see this on a CD that I own).

It's not techno, it just has the magician's personality. I'd say it has a deceptive vibe to it, uplifting and misterious, yet somehow dark and breaky. hope you enjoy the groove.
