Another random act of gun violence in the GTA has claimed an innocent life after a man was shot to death in Malton early Saturday.

Officers were called out before 4am to an address on Monica Drive, in the Finch and Highway 427 area where police say the 23-year-old victim was shot during some sort of altercation on the front lawn of a home.

Authorities are now on the hunt for a man who fled the scene in what they described as a dark-coloured vehicle that may have been carrying two or three other passengers.

i drove by the stabbing scene on the day it happened. i was wondering why the cops were taking photos of the empty car. i guess they wanted to see the access point for the stupid bicycler.
