y fixing VBR Files
I've tried to use VBR Fix on some mp3's without any luck. Has anyone found a good app for quickly fixing mp3 files that you cannot scroll through time on?

why would u use vbr files in the first place?
if anything...just use something like audacity or some other recording program and just resave it as a cbr. granted it doesnt help with sound quality, but it solves your issue

use itunes if you have to, just right click and go convert to mp3.

when audio is converted from wav (uncompressed) to vbr mp3 (compressed) you will obviously get loss. converting that vbr mp3 to cbr will cause even greater loss again, regardless of what bitrate you use. obviously the higher the bitrate, the less loss you will get, but the mp3 format does have some specific dithering and filtering qualities that will degrade quality regardless.
you would be best off burning as normal uncompressed audio and not worrying about having a million mp3s on one cd.
