i always thought it would be kind of cool to go to antartica for the research aspect of it. the AF used to send people down there, but now it's all contractors.

sounds kinda neat - but then you look at the temperatures, and it's like -79F for the HIGH in wintertime. fuck that , i'll pass.

...or you can take a tour. Very expensive, but worth it IMO. I want to go there too.
