I tryed to search for "cicada things you say" and there was only one result in MD in last 12 months.
I'm quite sure that track has been mentioned at least 3-digit number of times.

Come on, this is not supposed to be a genre, just a description. In order to succesfully communicate about art with others, you just have to use some adjectives to get your point across. People are talking about hypnotic/sexy/whatever music all the time and none of it has become a new genre of music.
