i can go some way to agreeing with you, but there's several records that magda et al are playing that are purportedly his, and none of them are either bland or predictable
I think it's easier to release bland and predicitable at the minute because it'll sell you records, see dubfire, whereas there's few who'll take a chance with something a little different, see Jesse Somfay
