Looking for CD players

First of all, no, i dont need anymore pios since i already have 2 cdj800s...

anyway, i need a dual deck cd players "JUST" for the use of acapelas and "dj tools".. i wont be scratching so there's no point in looking for something with a turntable top!!

im just looking for a dual deck to add, something very cheap but the main issue here is that i want it to hold pitch.. i dont really have a set price but im looking to for the cheapest alternative since i won't care about them alot!!

Oh, and i dont care if they have digi outs!!

anyone can recommend cheap ones??

PS: i found a lot but im not sure if they actually can hold pitch for some time!!!

thanks

um... dude CD players are digital. they hold pitch forever.

what you're thinking of is the sensitivity. if you buy a shit cd player, it will be high. look at what your CDJs have, and then base it on that.

the pitch control will have a lower resolution on a cheap player

for example, lets say the resolution is limited to whole numbers... if you need to get it on "1.5" you'll have to set it to 1 or 2 and ride the jog wheel, or it will get out of time. Good players have finer increments. Regardless of the increment, all cd players will hold THAT tempo indefinately.

cheap player would give you increments/decrements of "1"
expensive player would give you increments/decrements of "0.5"

(as an example)

the expensive player will be easier to keep in time, as the pitch control is more accurate. like i said, read the stats about your cdj800s, then compare that to whatever you're buying. if there is a big gap, you know it will be shit and you'll have to be ridding the jog wheel forever. follow?

cdj200/cdj1000 is .02%
cdj 800 is .05%
cdj 100s is .1%

i use a cdj100s and a cdj200, and its still fine with .1 just gotta ride the pitch a bit more and i use my 200 in .05%

depending on how much your willing to spend, then id go for some of the pioneer duals like the cmx-3000 and 5000.

failing that some denon duals, which you used to find in clubs a lot before cdj became popular. dont crap out on cheaper stuff even if they are just for secondary use.

By buddy has the Denon dual CD player w/ the .1 pitch adjustment. He can beatmatch perfectly w/ the use of the pitch bend. They really likes the Denon unit.
