Good New Trance Here (I'm Not Joking)

...Coming from a guy who was making ambient in the past. Great mixture of trance, ambient and some psy elements. Check it out:

SAMPLES HERE

That second track sounds especially good...

It's out on digital today. I just finished listening to it and like expected it's really top notch (i've been listening to the previews quite a few times recently). 100% pure banging trance.

Wow, Spectral Nation ftw. Loads of good stuff there, cheers for the link.

The second track was the only one I didn't like. I don't know if it was the bassline but it reminded me of that poppy pseudo-progtrance Schulz's been putting out lately.

Other than that, quality

I'm not really familiar with Schulz's sound, but I really liked that oriental sound in the second track. Reminded me a bit about Banco De Gaia or some old goa..

If you can look past that slightly cliched sidechaining it's really a great track.

My favorites off the album after one full listen are the first and the last track: "Summer" and "Cruise". But as i said the whole album is brilliant, it kicks most recent trance (and so-called trance) right off the face of this planet.

I definitely need to hear the full track. Also, I probably expected something bit more different.

Will give it more listens for sure

Love the shift to triplet feel and back to regular 4/4.

Sounds good, reminds me of pre '99 era trance, I've found elements of Deepsky, Juno Reactor and Banco De Gaia in there, among others.

Excellent, pure quality stuff for sure. I've been looking forward to the release of this one. Don't know why beatport lists so many of those as "Psy-Trance" though.

Agreed. And it's probably why I like it so much.
