Heh - yah - I know what you mean. Alot of ppl shy away from certain things - because it doesn't provide that familiar "high" that they get from something they know. I find the environment that you listen to something like that in - plays more then anything.
I mean commercial club trance - has countless dj's promoting good nights for ppl - with that music as the soundtrack. It's only natural that the masses will steer that direction. But like everything else - the cycle just keeps repeating itself.
Regarding the track - I used a couple different things here.
Emagic Logic for the sequencer, and the halion sampler for the vocal bit. A virus B, nordlead3, jomoxairbase, sidstation, and machinedrum for the rest of the track.
I have another version of this track shooting out - actually a hard trance mix - I will post it when I am done. But for now - I liked to spew this version forth.
In closing my thoughs were that it's simple and not this large production - but it conveys the right amount of emotion, while still keeping a chill vibe about it.
