Using other forums for international event listings

I find them really crappy. Did anyone else have better luck looking for events overseas?

The UK & Ireland forum part of TA kinda sucks - it just refers you to
dontstayin.com [which i can't stand their site - too busy/confusing]
and harderfaster [seems ok].

how is it london is the hub of so many artists/tracks/producers/genres yet I can't find that many listings of well known dj's? I guess i'm looking in the wrong places or i'm being extremely picky!

How did you lot do when looking events abroad? whether it be ibiza, amsterdam, tokyo ANYWHERE?!?

Is it something you just don't plan for?

suggestions please

Depends on the type of events you're looking for really. If you're looking to go to a certain club, just check the club's webpage. If you're looking for a certain genre of music, it's a bit harder. Usually the best bet are forums specific to that region. For your Ibiza example, www.ibiza-spotlight.com and www.ibiza-voice.com are both very good.

It is not as easy as it is here on TOTA.

The sites you listed above I used as well, but as you said they aren't very well organized.

RA - http://www.residentadvisor.net/ was good for both London and Amsterdam.

Ibiza - http://www.ibiza-voice.com/event/calendar.php
