How do you get over her?

Does going out and having meeting new people possibly having sex with them really help at all. I feel like a dumbass for asking but I feel twice as stupid for not having gotten over her yet. my theapist said I should find ways to keep myself busy and meet new people but generally I'm not a socialite. In fact i guess i'm kinof a jerk which is why my girlfriend left me in the first place. Anyhow she doesn't seem to be having a hard time hooking up. She's already got pictures of her new hubbie on her myspace profile, what a bitch we've only ben brkoen up for 2 months and we were together for three years. Still though...
does meeting new people really help? any suggestions on how to have fun. I think I've forgotten.

The only thing that can help you is time. Talk about your feelings about her with other woman. Woman like these kind of stories.

I am on a deadend street myself with a beautifull girl i know for 1,5 years. She wants to slow down and I want to step on the gas. She is setting up a traffic school and says she's busy (simple phone calls included). Lot's of fights. So I shared the ups and downs with my love with a insane hot female collegue. Now she's dreaming about me at night and wants to skip work for a day, lol!

Will it make me happy? No!! But it makes me forget my personal problems at work.
