I need an opinion on my mixing skills, i'm not sure just how 'good' or 'bad' I am at mixing so could some of you guys download one of my transistions (566Kb) and say whats good and bad about it? Oh and bonus points if you can guess the 2 tracks!

m-diva comes in from no-where, the timing is not correct but beats are fine.

Sounds good to me man!
would have been nice if the sample was a little longer on both ends, and maybe not so high a bitrate.

since the beats are correct, how do you get timing correct, I have this problem to when the incoming track comes out of nowhere. I find this out after I record.
I need help with this!

Some mixes sound better on Cut = Abruptly or suddenly...
IMO this one sounds better when smooth and maybe a bit slower..
This one wazs a "Cut" and plus, I don't like it that 2nd track comes in on the 2nd beat of the box... IE
Kick--Kick-Clap
I prefer it on the first, perhaps personal taste but, that also adds smoothnes...
Everything else eemes fine!

around the 0:11 mark i'm not sure if those claps are the end of your first song or what...
but from my impression it sounds like the end of the outgoing track.
IMHO, You should mix in the incoming song completely before you hit the end of the outgoing track... otherwise like some people say it will sound too abrupt. But then again i'm just being nit picky. Your beat match is on target though.

the first track is headstrong, escalator. Good track. I agree though that you can't tell about that transition because the sample isn't long enough. I've actually got a mix comming out of and into that track. As a dj, the transitions on this set I made are my best. You can dl the whole set at audiogalaxy: search for dj flesch, the set is welcome to my world.audiogalaxy dj flesch link
The transitions are from firewall touched into headstrong escalator, and then into beam and yanou the sound of love.
first transition (i'll post the second in a second msg.
