Is it possible to make a set of videos while playing my trance set over it? What software would I need and how hard would it be? Thx!

Do you mean VJ and DJ at the same time; or just compile a series of videos together and dub it over with an MP3 set of yours?

Compile videos and dub my set over it.

Sony Vegas should get the job done for you. It's simple enough for a beginner to get a hold of and powerful enough to make quality videos with. You could also get more creative by picking up a VJ proggy such as Module8 or Onyx. I'm no VJ/Video expert so don't take mine too seriously maybe someone else can give you better advice .
