I use WinRAR (odd, eh) for all my zipping and unzipping mainly because I do all I need using right-click and I like the setup of WinRAR's right click options.
And yeah, it's WinRAR...meant for RAR files, but you can tell it to compress to .zip by default in its settings.

winRar as well for both zip and rar, and most anything else i come across. but once in a while, i'll also use winace solely for a very rare .ace file.
7-zip works .rar and others as well plus there is a portable version if you care about such things.

I prefer Winrar but I now use 7-zip so I didn't have to pay for it this time :-) I find Winrar's layout easier to figure out but its not worth buying when you can get 7-Zip for free ;-)
