pioneers and denons

Hello

I'll be first time spinning on Denon cd players on my next gig and I was wondering whats the difference with them comparing to Pioneers?

I'm used to Pioneer 800 mk2. Are there any things I should be aware?

Thanks for answers

Re: pioneers and denons

Cueing is different.

On Denons the cue point is set by hitting play/pause, finding your cue point, then hitting play/pause again.

On the Pioneers (in CDJ mode), you press play/pause, find your cue point, then hit cue.

Do you know which decks they are? The manuals are all online, might want to peruse it so there aren't any surprises.

The basics are very easy though.

Not quite, pressing cue can also set a cue point on the Denons, but you have to be in stutter mode first (which is achieved by pausing then moving the jog dial, whereas Pioneers go into stutter mode as soon as you hit pause).
