Breakbeat Drum Patterns?

Have seen plenty of the tutorials on here with regards to 4/4 based drum patterns, but was wondering if anyone had any pattern tips for doing breakbeat style drums?

I generally stick with a kick on the 1, then just go a bit ape sh^t after that, with a bit of snare variations on the 2/4 beats.

Anyone got any patterns guides?

i'm by no means an actual expert, but i gathered up this. the basic 'rule' and it isn't a rule as music-rules are meant to be broken.

K---S-------S---

kick on the one, snare/clap on the two & four so it's mixable, and then you put kicks and snares where it would fit the bassline, melody or beat or whatever.

the basic one that is used is K---S-K-K-S--- or just the twostep K---S---K-S---

i experiment all the time with different patterns. one of the last experiments i used K--KS--K--K-S---K- or like K-KS--K--KS-KS-K , ok they were for more brokenbeat-ish stuff but ye, it can work, just aslong as you work up a good groove
