i dont understand what kind of a tease it is to put 3 comedians in 1hr with commercial breaks.. did they pay the audience to go? i know i woudlnt go to see a comedian for 15mins

It's more likely that the entire show was over an hour with comedians opening the show that weren't on TV. And the guys that were on TV probably did longer sets, and only a portion of it was aired.
