GTA rocks but I dont like the character they've chosen to play the lead. It could have been someone right from urban America but this isnt that invigorating.

But they've already done an urban America sorta guy. At least this character is somebody completely new that can introduce new story elements not yet seen in the other GTA's.

Yea but playing a from a foriengers perspective isnt that appealing to me, they've tried this in Vice City and LCS etc. Why not try something else? Playing an Asian or someone else I mean.

I'm really looking forward to this new character, because I was hoping they would use somebody of East European decent.
I am not European, but I think there is a huge underground mob world left to explore.

Agreed.
Personally I think Rockstar is doing a great thing exploring ethnic diversity.
GTA III: white guy (caucasian/American, if you prefer.)
GTA Vice City: Italian-American
GTA San Andreas: African-American
