Tracks that fit between prog/tech-house and Trance

Hello all,

Next month I will do a gig in a very nice club in Brazil (www.clubnox.com.br)

I am planning to start playing some prog and tech-house and build up to trance. What could be some good tracks to make a slow transition between these genres??

Thanks in advance

isn't what your asking the general job of a dj... to pick tracks that go with eachother?

Yeah, I already have my tracks sorted out and I know what to play. I thought it would be interesting to see other opinions and suggestions.

Mate, just browse through the Prog-house section on Beatport and you'll be amazed at how many prog tunes there are that have very trancey undertones and melodies.

Besides, you're taking the fun out of planning a set asking us...

When people ask for opinion here don't be ass.

I'd say try Back to San Fran by Nic Chagall

and good luck on your gig!

And who was being an ass exactly? We all gave honest answers. There is so much prog-house that can easily be used in a trance set that it just proves that the OP starter hadn't even looked before asking.

Come on, 50% of being a DJ is looking for tunes to play

as quoted by Dave Dresden:-

Electrogenix - pmem101

its a track of mine from year ago. He said he wished there was more stuff like it because it fitted between the genres. maybe pitch it down by 3% or so..... also, 'watch it!' is something that might work for you.

check it here!:-

I apologize I didn't mean to start name calling. True as a dj that's your job to find the song but I also think getting inputs and suggestions from other dj's can be beneficial and add dimensions to your repertoire.

It's like writer's block I get it sometimes and just can't find that right song and I would be more than happy to get suggestions.

That's me though everyone one has their own ways.
