good meat is key... but i think the most important thing is delicious bread.... it also helps if you have some kind of spice of veggie in the bread like "onnion and red pepper bread"

the key to a delicious sandwich is having somebody else make it for me

yes, thats what i'm talking about! you are a sandwich connoisseur. the bread is the next key ingredient after fresh cold cuts. then after that, the next key ingredient greatly depends on what type of sandwich you are making. if it was turkey, i would probably choose tomatoes. if it was a chicken cutlet sandwich, it would probably be roasted peppers.

this is the highlight of my day so far

i'll tell you what NOT to put in

mayo, mustard, relishes, sauces, dressings

they're just used to detract from poor quality fresh ingredients. A good sandwich only needs good quality bread, some good meat, ham, beef, chicken, turkey, pork or lamb and some fresh salad. Alternatively, red cheese & strong onion is good.

But then I'm told that the bread in america/canada etc isn't good. French & English flours give us some lovely tasting ones
