Unless you are an established DJ in your area, it is usually a bad idea to *sell* your promo material. If you want to get your name out give away your discs. I mean, it costs you less than $.50 to make a CD so why not just give them away, right?
Technically it is illegal to sell music you don't have copyright on. For demo purposes you can write on your material "Promotional Material - Not For Sale". And also be sure to indicate that the mix is a "Studio Mix" (as opposed to live / turntable mix) somewhere on the liner ... can get you in trouble if you use it to get booked.
peace
