Not to begin even more rumors, but I found this a bit interesting. I emailed destinty last night about their wemf 2002 this year. I basicaically just told them congrats for keeping things going even though they got shat on last yaer. I suggested that they book dj astrid or talla 2xlc. In their responce this morning they said that they were looking into talla. I'd way rather see him then the stupid clown marco v, so hopefully this works out.

Talla? Nah...I'd personally want Hybrid or Orkidea to make an appearance...Talla isn't THAT great...or maybe I'm just listening to the wrong livesets...?

Destiny confirmed that the permit is 100% for sure this year.
From Destiny
That's right, WEMF2002 is back - bigger and better than ever. This year all permits and legal stuff have been taken care of early to ensure the best party of the year - don't miss the big one!

wemf takes place at different venues every year
last year it was in a giant field in bobcaygeon...on some hells angels property
the year before it was at an airport where the main room was an airport hanger...etc. etc.
i would love to see talla 2xlc at wemf...it would be a good change from the usual djs that we see every year at wemf and other destiny events
i lost my train of thought for this post thinking about howhungry i am...dinner time!

Speak for yourdelf guy, I would rather see marco V way more then talla and so would alot of other paying party goers. So whatever, it's just useless rumor talk anyway....They haven't booked anybody yet.

No, not because he didn't come to toronto. I wouldn't have watched him spin anyway even if he had. I just don't like his style. Perhaps you should "Get your shit straight" before jumping to conclusions. One final side note, it seems everyone that loves marco v exhibits, how should I put it..... gino tendancies? bud, bro, guy, solid.... perhaps i'll get people threatening to beat me up now too..

I think I'll go even if it's a marginal line up. I went in 2000, and the locals djs blew oakenfold out of the water. They really rose to challange I suppose. I wouldn't want to see destniy take a hit like SS this summer. We need a few companies that can bring decent djs over to different and exciting venues. The guv gets old fast. I find that going to venues that aren't clubs brings out way cooler people. I guess the gino contingient isn't big on camping out for a weekend. It would probably mess their hair up or something.
