pitch problems

hi ok ive got my decks side by side and one of the pitch sliders is alot stiffer now this isnt a problem what is is that i notice one deck (the stiffer pitch slider) does not revolve at the same speed as the other one in fact the stiffer ones +4 is equivalent to about the smaller ones +2 argh i cant ell because the big dont move as fast :/ how do i fix my table

im not 100% sure but i think there is a pitch screw that u tighten to make the decks faster and loose to slow.my friend changed his as he was a techno dj and needed the extra pitch... maybe look on line for tech descriptions of how to do it.. the screw is under the platter and cooling vent.. so be careful with what u mess with

right beside the on/off switch thingy there are 4 numbers with corresponding dots

i believe its -3.3, 0, 3.3, 6.6 or sometigna long those lines

regardless...they have dots beside them that represent the dots on the platter

when you put the pitch to say...0, then the large dot should appear to not move when you look at it where the redlight from the power shines on it (dunno if that made sense)
as should the other ones (i.e. @ 3.3 the corresponding dot should not move, etc.)

i would be hesitent about opening the tables up if you don't know what you're doing, keep in mind that if you open up the tables it voids the warrenties (assuming you bought them new)

and from what i hear, it is very difficult to get it back to the correct pitch once you fuck around with it...i suggest letting someone who knows what they're doing fix it...well i know i wouldn't trust myself fucking around with an $800 investment
