Promoting your tracks on myspace

Is it the case you need to go and manually post or are there tools to help you out?

bots are a deterant to professionals if anything. you can smell a bot auto add a mile off.

imo the best way is to comment on other peoples spaces, with a personal touch. then they are more likely to check out your tunes..

also, if i see a detailed personalised message to an artist i am a fan of then im more likely to see what this person is up to because they might be making music i like, or they might end up liking some of my music.

All people with 100 000 plays, use bots.
Headstrong uses Friend Blaster Pro, I know it because he told me, I know Matt Darey uses it aswell.
Is the best Myspace Bot out there.
Is not a secret, all are using this tools to promote theirselves, I personally find it kinda dumb, because to add someone does not mean this person is a potential fan, however, properly done is a good way to have more exposure. I have tried it, and honestly did not appeal me too much, you get alot of people posting you comments like - Thanks for the add!!! One or two fans for every 100 people you add.
I honestly prefer people who is really interested about my music to add me, or to promote myself in other ways, however, Myspace is huge, and this bots as I said, properly used are a good way to promote yourself, just not my thing.

Kopi =o.

All seems pointless to me. Does anyone really care how many so called "friends" someone has on myspace? When I get a friend request from someone I don't know, I hardly ever check their tunes out. The only thing that matters is how many listens/downloads your songs get. I'm sure there are ways to artificially inflate song play numbers. You can do it yourself just by listening to your own songs several times a day. But in the end, you need real listeners, and the only way to get that is by word of mouth. Good old fashioned promotions like networking, DJing, performing live, ect, still apply. Producers and bands with lots of listens are usually doing live gigs. If you don't get out there somehow, people won't know you exist. Bots and spamming will get you nowhere, because a lot of other people are probably doing the same thing.
