yeah. that, and the hokey pokey are pretty much all it's about.

Well, if you aren't into production yet, then it'll be a while before you can get a sound you want. Strange wording, but I mean it.

It'll take quite a bit of experimenting with synths and samplers until you know how each parameter effects a sound in what way. Then, listen to your favorite song and try to replicate it. That's the best teacher. You ask yourself (after knowing what does what) "what do I need to do to get that bass to sound like that" and then either sell your soul and make that your style or you make your own style that stems from it.

Cheers!

listen to songs you like, then try to reproduce similar sounds. this is what everyone does and there is no magic pill. for most people, it will take at least 2 years before you can produce anything beyond utter crap, so don't be in a hurry either.

The basics of house music is most of all having sexy women in the video clip and an annoying melody that all the plebs will love.

Oh yes and vocals... nearly forgot that

I mean . A good bassline will def do the trick.. If u have a good catchy bass and add some toms hi rides and 100 other things and ull have gold.. Like everyone else said. the best thing is to really listen to a track that makes you wanna go back to your computer and starting making music. And try to remake it. Putting the kick clap hi hat bass snare shaker and all that to give you basic idea of whats up. Idk. thats my 2 cents
