Nice one (instruments are very similar from original mix but with a different touch

Well, I think the beginning of the track is very dry/empty? (from 0:00 until 0:55, when bass begins) .. maybe adding ambience or something similar would help it sound better...

It's a great remix, indeed

Cya,

- Tinto

Thread from the dead!

Viola is quite possibly my favourite trance tune of all time, and the good news is... you haven't ruined it! It's well produced, I'm glad you have kept to a similar style to the original (and the same sound for that lead melody). I like it! Hmmm... not much else to say apart from well done and thanks for sharing it with us!

the original is one of my favs...

your version aint too bad niether, just needs more edge.

i know you're going for a certain style, but PERSONALLY, i think the bassline and rythm sound a tad generic.

Not a bad mix but needs something to fill out the begining as already said by some.

Clap is too dry, need layer.
hats ar to primitive and sounds too simple, need some sampling, maybe layering.
kick need some pumpy compressor.
Melody timbre - omg... that is VERY VERY...TRANCY
There is very big lack of the drive in your rhytmic part.
Need automation.

Break , and then kick starting kicking ass... VERY GOOD... but your kick screwing everything... and also bassline, but not that much.

3 part - that ghost synth timbre is not ok.... need some idia for it, maybe timbre..
I like your gated pad... very good, maybe try putting some exciter or a litle bit of reverb and flanger for wideness and warmnes...

Indeed idea is very good, but you need more practise. Then go again for this project. I think after 10 other tracks..
GREAT POTENTIAL.

linkmagey mage aka moonbird

where is my tooths?
