effing, any Trancecore/Freeform recommendations AT ALL?

I can't find much music in these genres at all.. which is sad 'cause out of all of the samples on Ishkur, the ones under these two genres are my favorite.

I'd even like to start producing this shit, but I need some recommendations to get started.

Any recommendations, at all?

You can find some here. Also, Alek Száhala seems to be one of the biggest names in the genre

As I remember Kevin Energy was the main trancecore player in the 90s. Don't know what he's producing these days...

So for the beginning check out him, his Nu Energy label and some others such as Lost Soul, Pete Richardson, Helix, Cortex, Sharkey... Again don't know what they are doing now, but they were some of the biggest names in the 90s

Kevin Energy still does Freeform, he played here in November along with Sharkey/Arkitech/AMS (all of them big names in the freeform scene, so check them out if that's what you're after). It was an awsome night.

Also, Alek Szahala as someone said, Proteus as well, though he played very hard and dark, but it's still more or less classified as freeform I think.

There's a duo from Brissie who do amazing live freeform sets/productions, under the name of CoA, check them out:

Try and find some stuff by Lost Soul. They have one particular track which I love the shit out of (Taking Over Me), their stuff seems to be getting a fair bit of play at the hardcore parties I've been to recently, so try and get your hands on some of their productions.

I'm not sure about some of the earlier releases, but Kevin & Sharkey's mix on Bonkers 17 has a large amount of freeform in it (including aforementioned track by Lost Soul), so check that out, and look up info on the tracks you like in their mix.

Also a plug for a local DJ team who do some wicked freeform/uk hard sets at parties here in Adelaide, Kaos Theory, grab their promo mix, if it's the same one I was given a couple months ago there's some quality freeform in there:

Friend of mine mixes uk hard/freeform as well, I'll see if he has any of his sets online still and try link them.

These are in my record box from a few years ago:

Spinback & Storm - Your Love [Underground Recordings]
Uplift & Stargazer - Statik [Raw Elements]
Scott Brown - Eternal Soul [Evolution]
Brisk & Ham - Angel Eyes [Next Generation]
Social Outcast - Freedom [Bonkerz]

They are all banging.

Had some freeform/trancecore/hardcore before my HD crashed...unfortunately I can't remember most of the artists.

I remember Alex Szahala having a lot of decent tracks, as people have already stated.

And my favorite tune from this genre would have to be Uplift & UFO - Dawn of Creation. Sample here. LOVE that fucking breakdown...

DJ's I would recommend are No Left Turn and Cloudskipper.
