i need to get some headphones!!

Look in the threads in the "DJ Booth" section. There are long discussions about headphones there. Personally, I bought the Sony V6 (not v600), and I love them. Many people on these boards will tell you the same thing.

I have some Optimus Nova 403s got em from radio shack, for about $50, they ROCK.

i went and bought a few more pairs, one for work, one for mixing, one for home, one for my girlfriend..

once again.. they rock. and for the price of 4 pairs, you can have sony or technics ones. and imo they don't sound as good, and definitely aren't as comfy.

there is also the Sennheiser HD280s i think are supposed to be pretty good.
