Alright, so this has been spurned out of two other threads created here in the last few months, but I've been completely rolled over by the hype machine for this one, and I'm hoping that someone here on TA has at least a bit of new information on it's possible release, or whether or not some high quality copies have been making the rounds in the mean time.

I've got a couple copies I found off of soulseek. Both are in 320kbps, but they're really quiet (I have to turn the trim WAY up on my mixer to match it with any other track), and there's massive skipping in all the copies I've found. In fact, for some reason it only skipped twice on my computer, but when I burnt it to cd to play there were about ten or twelve skips.
No info on a release, but it is a pretty nice track. I could do without that techno hardstyle-esque rubberband sound in the beginning that leads into the main melody. The melody seems to be introduced way too quickly after that marginally grating rubberband sound.
Can't wait to get a proper release of this.

Yeah, I have the same copies you do - and it fucks me off to absolutely no end.
I really like the way the whole thing is put together - and honestly, couldn't care less that this one will inevitably have the piss beat out of it and have the same people who loved it once, talk shit about it once it's released - such is the way of the EDM world.
And Jake, regardless of whether or not the hype is warranted in your eyes, it's still there, and will unfortunately probably kill this one in its tracks.

also, the first minute & a half,
rest,
Entirely my convictions. I wish he would have done more playing about with the main melody instead of using that rubberband noisy pap and then all of a sudden kicking in that melody.
