What is control? How would you define control? Some definitions of control are as follow, "An intelligence agent who supervises or instructs another agent." "A spirit presumed to speak or act through a medium." These are all qualities that talented DJs posses. Control behind the decks is essential for Adrian as he weaves his rhythm filled melodies and baselines within one another.
Adrian is the youngest resident at friskyRadio at the age of 18 and has already experienced the wonder of performing for others at different types of events. It all started at the age of 9 when Adrian's passion for electronic music grew exceptionally big thanks to the likes of The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, Prodigy, Fluke and other big beat acts around at the time. Eventually as his curiosity grew and as time went on, He found himself engulfed into the sound of trance. Around this time, His older brother was already Mobile DJing at Weddings and other such events. Soon there after, at the age of 12, Adrian finally got his hands dirty. He quickly got a taste of what it's like to be behind decks and He was hooked. He picked up the feel for the music rather quickly but after 2 years experimenting with trance, it just wasn't working for him. While He began to hone His mixing abilities, Adrian found himself playing more and more progressive house and progressive trance in his mix sets. It didn't take long for progressive to invade and take over in his mind. Adrian eventually found himself molding heavy loaded baseline sounds with rich, enticing, melodies. The rest is history. Now at age 17, Adrian has performed at all sorts of parties ranging from proms and weddings to house parties and festivals. Adrian is now the host of a progressive, down-tempo; ambient styled mix show that focuses on the atmosphere provided by mix sets entitled Cloud Nine Mix Sessions. Who knows where DJing will lead Adrian, but one thing is for sure, Adrian will continue to hammer tunes that move him and move others.
