So you meet someone on a friday night in town through mutual friends/acquiantances, end up hanging out with them for a couple hours while fucked up later in the night, have a load of fun, nothing else happens (no hookup/making out etc, was too pilled up at the time), mutual friends/acquiantances spend the next morning dropping all sorts of (not so) subtle hints at recovery.

Is messaging them out of the blue later in the weekend (just a 'hey whats up, you have fun, how'd your weekend go? thing) a good idea that shows interest in maintaining contact, or too soon/borderline kinda creepy and I should just wait till I see her out to talk again (most likely next weekend/weekend after).

Meh I know asking for advice on chicks on the internet is sad etc, I don't make a habit of it Just a new situation for me, I'm not used to meeting chicks at clubs who I'm interested in beyond a purely physical sense. It's always been through school/work, where I'm in near-daily contact with them anyway.
