im using cubase, may just be a simply little thing im over looking .... i have recently got kontakt 2 and am simply blown away by its amazing sound quality. If i open a new project and load up my favourite violin, cello etc all the sounds play on the midi channels, sound one on midi channel one etc ... however if i load up a midi file from in my case an old reason track i want to change a few sounds on, all intruments play on the first intrument in my kontakt rack

any info would help me alot.... many thanks in advance
