Hello! ATT: Vancouver TA

My name is Walter, I am an active TA reader and seasoned EDM clubber from So-Cal now living in Blaine WA. I know nothing about the EDM scene up in this area and would like to get involved ASAP! I see there are some shows up here in Vancouver but, I don't know anyone to go with.

If your like doing it up and rocking out to good music in the vancouver area, drop a line and say whats up

my AIM is Gumtuuu.

p.s There is nothing todo in Blaine...im dying and need ome fat beats already!

Also, I spin a little Prog House. Whose down to mix it up?

You can drop by anytime. Usually there's a good amount of TA's at any good event.

Just drop a note before a show and we'll figure something out.

I love spinning prog.

If you go to any decent EDM show in Vancouver, the TA's are usually way up front. You can usually tell, so just say "hi".

I mix mostly minimal, tech & prog house with a little bit of electro. My setup includes Abelton ran through my iMac and a mouse and keyboard (working on a midi-controller)... a la Charlie May & Duncan Forbes sytle. I know, I'm a nerd.

and welcome to Vancouver!

Currently I have a pair of CDJ800MK1's and A&H Xone:32 coupled with Torq . As everything has its own quirks but does the job well.

When I just got into EDM trance was the drug of choice, although I always fancied the techy side. Ever since then my taste slowly progressed away from trance anthems to more intellectual and deep genres.

Dark, evil, techy; I call it baby killing music.

dude, I hate the cdj 800mk1! The pitch on them aren't accurate enough. I find myself adjusting pitch more than EQing tracks.

Im thinking about upgrading to mk3s as soon as I get more cash.

Yea, I started spinning trance back in the day, now I love dark ass Prog house.

OMG, last show I went to was dubfire in LA just before I moved up here, BEST show EVER!!!!

i still cant believe it. I think he's the better half of Deep Dish

how long have you been spining??

Hey I often make trips down to blaine to pick up packages (thank you Hagen's of Blaine for letting me bring in DJM-800 without paying taxes!).

So if you ever want to spin just give me a message.
