[hip-hop] Mezzir - Breaking the Time Ceiling

So apparently I'm a bit late to this, seeing as the song was popular quite a while back, but I've always been a fan of the fugees, as well as lauren hill's solo work. I was working on this as an instrumental originally, and I really liked it, but it needed something else over it. Eventually came across this acapella and reworked the instrumental to make it fit, and I like how its come along. Still not done, especially seeing as i first started this less than 24 hours ago, but still I'd love some feedback
NONONONONO

NONONONONO

click this one instead:
it's the instrumental, but the vox didn't work anyways

THIS IS THE REAL ONE
Cheers

lauryn hill's miseducation album is awesome, have to take a gander on your remix.

hmm, wow, ye, this sounds out of key and really forced. the beat does not even fit the vocals. and btw, it's called 'Doo Wop (That Thing)'. however, i really like the beat on it's own, it's m83:y (err sorta) sound is nice, it just doesn't work as a backing for the pella.

my plans are to take the vocals out today, idk what i was thinking
i still like the verse, but the beat don't lend itself to the singing much
