yeah i heard he died of depression or something like that ..on the other hand i and many people are making shitloads amount of cash in the market right now because of its volatility i hope it stays like this for a while hehehe you just gotta know where to stand... this is where boys get separated from men!

it's easy to be on the wrong side of that volatility. the big boys capitalize on leverage...not necessarily volatility. While ppl may be making money, many more are losing money. the dow is down more than 1000 in january, which translates into a market cap loss of billions of dollars. but you are right, volatility can be good. easy way to profit from it is to enter a straddle; then you don't care which way it goes.
