Has Romney Made To Many Enemies Between The Rep. Candidates?

I dont want to use the terminology enemy, but lets say detested.

Lets analyze something... In the beginning of the race the talk was all about Giuliani... At the moment Romney knew he was the man to beat down from all the momentum the mayor was coming with. Romney attacked the mayor and well they basically hated each other.

The mayor decides not to run on the early primary states and decides to wait for them in FL, so from there he can take it to super tuesday. the mayor loses media coverage and his image disappears. now we have Huckabee as the new candidate.... so Romney goes out strong and attacks the pastor. eventhough the pastor is the type of man that is hard to get angry at we can see that he dosent click with romney. Huckabee only wins one state and basically is always finishing in 3rd place.

the resurrection on Mccain in SC. The senator comes out from the dead has the biggest momentum in going into super tuesday. romnet goes after him and tries to beat him down. mccain as we know always fights back. this is a brawl between them 2.

what can we conclude? Romney has attacked every single of the candidates, except paul who isnt even going to get to the corner of the street, and that has caused the candidates that are stepping down to endorse the candidate that has more chances in beating romney, mccain at the moment. if huckabee were to step down, do you think he will come out and endorse romney? we will all know who the endorsement is going to go.

my conclusion, i want romney to win, he has the chance but as he stands right now he has all odds against him. he has no big endorsement that can boost him up. money is not all you need to win a nomination you also need big support from big names. and i think it was a calcualated mistake by romney to start beef with every single one of his rivals. sadly if romney loses and mccain wins he wont even get to be VP

""Mitt Romney, giving one of his first major addresses on foreign policy yesterday, called for the United States to commit far greater resources to national defense, including higher military spending, 100,000 new troops, and government investment in an 'energy revolution' to make the country more self-sufficient.""

Romney: McCain used Nixon-like tactics

By GLEN JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer 52 minutes ago

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney accused his rival John McCain of adopting underhanded tactics from Richard Nixon, the GOP president who resigned in disgrace.

"I don't think I want to see our party go back to that kind of campaigning," Romney said in his most pointed rebuttal yet to front-runner McCain's claim that the former Massachusetts governor favors a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq. Romney denies this charge and most media analyses have concluded that Romney wasn't using `timetable' in the same way Democratic candidates have.

Romney comes across as desperate at times. He will really say anything to improve his own standing or disparage another's record.

But... that said. Huckabee and Giuliani really have nowhere to look but the mirror when searching for a reason as to why their campaigns fell. Huckabee's "God wants me to win" rhetoric REALLY turned people off just as they were starting to pay attention, and Giuliani's personal... indiscretions... didn't gain him a lot of fans either.

That and the fact that when you're polling 3rd in your home state, people are going to start to wonder what the problem is.
