after Armin at Pawnshop last year, we waited over an hour for the SoBe bus to show up...it was really pretty comical after about 45 minutes b/c the 1 bus would show up and tell us it wasn't going to the beach, we had to take the next bus...then that bus would show up and tell us the same thing. i think the drivers were cracked out and didn't know where they were supposed to be going cuz every 10 minutes the same 2 buses came through and refused to take anyone to the beach. it was worse than Septa in philly (and thats saying A LOT). finally a group of us, total strangers, jumped in the street in front of one of those van cabs, made him stop or hit us, and split the trip back to SoBe.
the bus ride over to Ultra on Saturday was horrible...we were stuck in pouring rain on the causeway for over an hour. if it wasn't raining so hard, i woulda jumped off the bus and walked the rest of the way faster. i ended up missing a lot of really good DJs cuz of the bus...definately leave EARLY if you're gonna take the bus.
def. don't recommend driving back to SoBe from downtown...the cops have this fancy speed trap on the causeway and no one is safe...buses, cabs, anyone in a hot car..they were all getting waved into the "ticket lane" and being busted. don't even try it if you're gonna drink...not even one.
If anyone is planning to go to Morillo for Thurs morning on the Terrace and wants to split a cab, let me know and we can meet up and save a few bucks. I feel sketched out trying to hail a cab myself at 4 in the morning haha.

there comes a time when the operation of the machine is so odious that you cannot even tacitly participate. you've got to place your bodies on the gears, the wheels, all the mechanism. you've got to indicate to those who own it and those who run it, that unless you are free, the machine will be prevented from working at all.
