Seems great parties last night everywhere and Windsor was no exception.

I <3 BBR. Such a nice club with intimate feel. Wish I had more chance to come down because it's got a very nice vibe.

Anyways, headed to BBR with Chris (tha broad), Ola and couple of her friends. Got in no problem at 10:30. Chilled out listening to some mainstream house in the main room and slowly getting drunk. 2.50 rye and coke. oh dear.

Found Skybar (upstairs) and oh, this was where the good beats were playing. Whoever the opening DJ was, he was laying down some solid techy prog and techhouse/techno thing. Yeah. Detroit thing. Skybar is very small, but the crowd vibe was awesome. Made me bust out some moves, though the rest of the crowd looked at me like, what the hell is that crazy Asian kid doing. lol (hate how the DJ booth is so high in comparison to the floor though)

The Scumfrog is very versatile DJ. I thought he'd play more mainstream ish commercial ish house but he took it off from the opening DJ and while he did play more regular house tunes later in the night, loved some of the bombs he layed down. James Harcourt & Udaye Rana Schadenfreude!!! Love this tune! Recognized few other tunes in his set but I don't remember now. LOL. 2.50 rye and coke before midnight will do that to you. (well, lots of them)

Left around 2:30 but the party was going strong still.

Saw Lisa and Nikitha (I forgot her TA name). Awesome chilling out you and random Ferry talk.

Remo is an awesome host. Man was busy running around ensuring everything was going good, taking pics and whatnot, but still took the time to have a good convo and make you feel welcome. (just tell him that you're from TA lol)

Tonight, round two for some Porterhouse action.
but gotta rest up now. too hungover. (first time in months!)

Hahaha...sorry sorry! I was definitely thinkin' about you on Saturday!

Scumfrog played a little different than what I had expected, but come to think of it, every time I've seen him he plays a bit differently. That being said, I don't mean different in a bad way...I haven't seen him in over a year and I'd been anticipating this night since the day it was announced. His set was awesome IMO...great tunes to get your feet moving. Really upbeat. Near the end it got a little boring for me...but I don't like the slower, tribally stuff he plays. I was surprised he didn't bring out the drums (unless I didn't notice?)

Was it me or was the crowd extra sketchy on Saturday? I don't know what it was...can't put my finger on it...but there was definitely some weird shit going on there! Regardless, I was with lots of friends and a great DJ so it was still good times!

Tons of people out that I knew - lots of out of towners, so it was a really great time visiting with everybody.

I could only go to one of the parties this weekend, and I'm 120% glad I choose The Frog!

I didn't get a chance to go up and say hi to him for you! Sorry. People were crowding the DJ booth, and I didn't want to be a pest. You would have had a great time though! Jesse was getting really into the set.

The one thing I don't like about the Skybar at BBR is how high the DJ is though. It makes for more dancing room - but I for one love DJ-crowd interaction, and especially considering the majority of the times I've seen Jesse has been at Zone, I find him well more suited for close intimate quarters.

P.S. I was telling a bunch of my friends about the first time I saw him at Zone (my first time at Zone too - he broke me in & made me fall in love with that place) and I remember you wearing the frog mask the whole day!

that was a really fun night, can anyone confirm that he dropped chris lake's release? cos i know i danced like an idiot at one point and i think its cos of that song. anyways thanks again remo, wicked night as always
