"Club Trance"

OK I'm having some difficulties distinguishing "Melodic Trance" (or Uplifting or whatever although I class those as different stuff) and "Club Trance" and actually finding what and is there a difference.

So:

1) Please gimme your definition of "Club Trance" I think it's not as simple as "Trance that can be played in clubs"

2) What differs it from the other sub genres of Trance (Especialy Melodic Trance cause I've had an argument with a man that REALLY knows his shit with music and he said it's club Trance and all I could say was "It's Melodic" without any reason...

WHAT IS CLUB TRANCE?

Bollocks mate. I agree when you say that Ecuador is a pretty good tune but if you call those tunes clubtrance then you have never been near a real club. So dont talk about shite that you dont know anything about

'real clubs' to you wouldnt play 'club trance'

IMO club trance is whats on the Trance allstars CD, the House allstars CD etc (for the majority, sometimes they get rights to great songs)

Stop trying to pigeon hole trance. Its IMPOSSIBLE

All the sub-genre's of trance cross over each other. Just listen to the music and enjoy it

club trance is mainly to me is stuff from ian van dahl,fragma,etc... but although despite what everyone says club trance is majorly what attracks a person into the trance genre. than they move on and discover a whole new and more complex genre within a sub genre of trance.

Ferry Corsten & Dj Tiesto back in 1997 I think , started this genre -=Club Trance=- because than there was only Trance aka Psy Trance so they called it ClubTrance
& Sash , Fragma , Ian van Dahl is a shity euro dance that all
