I remember reading here that you are able to split wav files using Nero software. Anyone remembers how to do it and if you don't mind laying down instructions. Thanks.

i use Internet Audio Mix (Vers. 1.48)
It is by far the best out there and also free.. you can d/l the demo. It is the real thing but says you can only have it for 30 days but on 1.48 it has a problem so you can still do everything after 30 days. So the newer versions may be adjusted just for 30 days.
You can kind of remix songs and make them extended, etc. Add voices, noises from other tracks and cut the tracks of a live set into single files.
It is really easy just to create a .CUE sheet. All you need to do is have the set as one big .WAV file and then just add the times you want the tracks to change to the .CUE sheet, then just burn it in nero as a image file. If you want to know how to do this I can post it again, but I dont feel like explaining it right now , im at work.

Read through my post in this thread: (it focusses on .mp3, but works just as well with .wav - it's all explained there)
I use CDRCue to edit .cue sheets, but Notepad will do it just fine.
The biggest problem I've had is when the MP3 is longer than 80 minutes, CDRWin and Nero won't burn it to two discs for you.
For these files, I used to split the MP3 into two big pieces then go back and manually edit the .cue file into two .cue files.
There is an easier way: Musicutter http://musicutter.host.sk/ will take the .cue sheet and cut the MP3 into separate MP3 tracks for you. You can then easily burn the separate MP3's on two discs. I've only found one problem with the program: it won't recognize track times > 99 minutes. However, you can enter the > 99 min track names & times manually in the program.

I use nero, but have to admit i do get problems with it. For example, i spent a long time making my own cue for the gielen trance energy 2002 set, inserting the times into nero, fading out the last bit so i could split it over 2 cds, etc. After all that i select burn, and i get all kinds of errors, like some crap to do with "joliet file" etc.
I also hear that it crashes on a lot of people when draging large mp3 files to be burned. Maybe u'll hav better luck tho. Its pretty straight foward. Just right click on the mp3 once it is in Nero, and click properties.
